Consultant Solicitor,
Crime
William, on qualification as a solicitor, worked initially for firms in Hampshire before going to Kiribati in the Central Pacific. There his work included prosecuting murders and rapes, law drafting, treaty negotiations and general advice to the Government. Since then he has worked in Dorset and Cornwall before joining Richard Griffiths and Co in 2024.
He has handled a range of court cases over many areas of law; but for the last 20 years or so mainly in family (particularly child care cases) and criminal law. He now works exclusively in the field of criminal defence.
He regularly attends police stations and army camps for interviews and appears in the local Magistrates Courts. He covers all kinds of cases – big and small – and has a particular interest in advocacy.
Outside his professional work, William is an active member of his local Church where he takes services from time to time. He also enjoys taking his Spaniel for walks in the countryside.
William brings his varied experience together for the benefit of his clients to whom he gives straightforward and realistic advice and professional representation.
