Head of Department / Solicitor
Raymond specialises in criminal defence law, in cases from shoplifting to murder, as well as Courts Martial. In the course of his 27-year legal career, Raymond has previously worked in contract, housing and immigration law, as well as on judicial review cases. His broad experience has led Raymond to develop an attitude of common sense, and he is well-respected in his field.
Raymond is particularly good at dealing with youths, as one might expect from a father of five, and he is popular with their parents for his competent, no-nonsense manner. He is easy to talk to yet will professionally and courteously fight the client’s corner.
Raymond has represented clients in the police station arrested for murder and attempted murder, as well as other serious offences, and has had many successful outcomes with no further action taken.
In cases of violence against a person, Raymond is able to use his training in martial arts to visualise how an injury may have occurred. Raymond’s varied experience is at the client’s disposal to achieve the best possible outcome.
