Solicitor
After successfully completing her BSc in Criminology at the University of Southampton, Lauren went on to pursue a career in law. She completed the GDL at Bournemouth University, earning an Academic Achievement Scholarship for her outstanding grades. She then undertook the LLM in Legal Practice, which included the LPC, achieving a 2:1 overall and a 1st in her dissertation titled: ‘To what extent are pregnancy laws within employment sufficient in the UK in relation to IVF treatment?
Following the completion of her two-year training contract, during which she gained experience in the Family & Matrimonial and Crime departments, Lauren qualified as a solicitor. She now works in the Family department, specialising in Child Care.
Lauren is passionate about providing clear, supportive, and accessible legal advice. She takes pride in breaking down complex legal concepts to ensure that every client fully understands their case and feels confident throughout the process. Known for her personable and approachable nature, Lauren strives to build strong relationships with clients, offering both empathy and professionalism during what can be a challenging time.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys practising pilates, spending time at the beach and being with family and friends.
