Zara joined the Family Team in November 2019 and has experience dealing with many different areas of Family Law both working for private and public bodies.
Whilst having considerable experience of Public Law Children Act matters, Zara now specialises predominantly in Divorce and Financial matters, Non-Molestation Orders and Private Law Children Act matters. Zara’s broad knowledge allows her to provide tailored and carefully considered advice on all aspects of a client’s case, often at a highly emotive and stressful time in a client’s lifetime.
Zara has considerable experience working with those who have been victims of domestic abuse as well as those with additional health and learning needs.
During her time at a Local Authority, Zara delivered bespoke training to social workers relating to working with parents with learning disabilities before, during and after Care Proceedings. Zara worked on and tailored this training following the Judgment of HHJ Dancey in A Local Authority v G (Parent with a Learning Disability) [2017].
Zara is sympathetic and personable and really spends time getting to know her client’s. Zara works with closely with client’s to find a pragmatic and cost effective resolution to their individual matter.
Zara accepts instructions from both Legally aided and privately funded clients.
