Andrew has a reputation for forensic attention to detail, finding defences where other people wouldn’t have thought to look. After 25 years’ practice, Andrew’s reputation is such that many of his clients come through word-of-mouth recommendations.
Andrew is particularly known for his highly effective and extremely robust attitude when dealing with both the police and the Crown Prosecution Service. With Andrew you will get straight talking!
Andrew has been involved with all types of criminal defence and road traffic work, from murder to speeding. Andrew assists with Crown Court cases and at one point led a team that was simultaneously engaged in the conduct of five murder trials. Road traffic is another important part of Andrew’s workload, due to the proximity of the M4 and other high-volume roads.
Andrew worked in Social Work before training to become a lawyer. He has considerable mental health experience and he is skilled at recognising cases where mental health/learning disability issues may be involved, which demand a high level of sensitivity. He also specialises in animal and agricultural cases, such as defending individuals against allegations made by the RSPCA.
